Dear Frau:

Shipped 1525 lbs today. Many things that will be missed are still here but I had about all I could get ready for one shipment and it made a good load.

Cartage cost 1.50

Freight cost 2.75

Tips .20

4.45 which I considered was O.K.

Did not get out to do any business to-day but will go up Skaneateles way to-morrow and Chittenango Friday. Saturday will make western trip ending at Port Gibson. The furniture will leave here in morning and will probably arrive in Port Thursday afternoon or evening.

Paper says we are to get a frost before morning. But I don’t think it will last very long.

Mrs. Garvey was sorry you were moving way. Said she w as awful sorry she was not home when you called and would like to have you visit her some time. Glad to have you stay over night.

Went around to see about some of the Weston cards last night. Collected about 3 and still have a couple hundred to hear from. By dropping price think I will dispose of nearly all of them in time.

Am getting anxious to get everything moved and located. Yours truly, Max

Just looked over Bill of Lading and see that the clerk did not enter all the items on it. There were 45 pieces and he has billed 40.

I think that chairs will make up. He has down 1 High Chair and 2 Rockers. In addition I sent at least 4 dining room chairs and the red plush chair without rockers. Which would make count right. See if the chairs come all right.
