Dear Wife:

We arrived at 403 Bear St. at 6:45. Stopped an hour a t Port Gibson and made a short stop at Franks in Baldwinsville.

We had no auto trouble and came through in good shape. We stopped at 6 PM and ate our eggs and sandwiches. We were served with lunch at Port. The housekeeper is busy in the kitchen. I rather suspect she is getting us something to eat.

I told the Skinners that if they went to Rochester now they would have a room and garage. I don’t know if they will go or not. Mattie is expecting to have to get some chickens from Hatchery to-morrow. A junk dealer was talking with Mr. Skinner and offered him $10.00 for his old car and a stove.

Am enclosing list of Old Glory winners.

I see that Earl is not in on the winning. Nelson found it in the paper after Earl called up Sunday. I haven’t talked very much about our plans with Charles yet.

Have had supper. Paul has a loose tooth lower front that he will be losing.

When we were coming along the girls were playing the alphabet game at one time Paul called out “There’s J” The girls said “where?” Then Paul with a disappointed tone said “Oh! It was an H.”

Nelson picked up about 60 rolls of film to-day. That is rather big for this early in the season and it looks as though Nelson would be swamped with work. Tuesday’s letter you better address care of Ernest E. Howard R.D. #2 Parish NY. Wed. letter if I don’t write different send to 403 Bear St.

Yours truly

Max
