Dear Frau:

Arrived home O.K. last night same time as a week ago. Last night being a warm evening people were hanging around the streets in Newark and I was surprised at the number of young men there are there. The streets seemed to be alive with them. Ought to be some photo work to be done there. Also probably would pay to have a first class news room in waiting room there.

Went to Camillus this morning and made fair number of pictures. Don’t have to canvass any there as I either have appointments or they stop me on the street or send me some place.

Got my 3 plates (for post cards) to-night and they are all right. About as good as they photograph in fact when I get them fixed up, I think people will call them better than the photo cards.

Ordered 3 more Camillus cards. I will probably have 600 of each made of Camillus views as I will probably sell 400 or 500 of each subject at the start.

Store took in about $4.50 Saturday and will have $3.00 to-day.

Mr. Blanding was just in the store speaking about some paper he has to sell. He is taking orders for that $5.00 vacuum cleaner.

There was a house advertised in morning paper 7 rooms 2 story – cellar – water in. 1225. 25 down and 12.50 per month. Then the taxes and interest would have to be paid by buyer leaving the house paid for in 12 years. I may take a look at it.

Yours truly,

Max
