Dear Frau:

Just finished supper. It is now 8:30. Arrived in town at 7:50 after spending the day in Lyons. Shot up the town this afternoon for my friend Getman. 1st (symbol of M with circle though) at 20. Did not finish making all the subjects but got most of them. Promised him exclusive but almost sorry as I had another druggist speak to me on the street about cards. May make him 20 more subjects later. They have been waiting quite a while for me up in that section.

Karbo people flunk on giving 25% on cards. Want 5.25 (symbol of M with circle through it).

Will develop to-night.

Mother received letter from Newell in which he speaks about my letter telling him that I was intending to move into the country.

Apr. 8 was the lucky day or April. Father must have had Chas. help in in picking out the day. It was a 2.20 day so I shouldn’t be surprised if the costumers would lose interest in the Lucky Day Scheme. Only found 360 in my mail today. Will take this letter down to corner now and come back to work. Just been listening to father explaining about how “I pick any day” etc and it sounds like a light comedy.

Write

Max
