Dear Frau:

5:15 P.M. Just arrived home. Met Lena while I was waiting for car and she w anted me to send her regards and ask why you don’t send her a card.

Did not receive any letter from you to-day but received three letters in our printed envelopes. The 3 contained 2.23 cash and orders for 3.00 worth of work.

I made pictures of 4 schools to-day. Found 1 school closed and the last school I went to had their picture made late in fall, so I did not make them. Some man from Auburn had made a great many schools in that section so I will have to make a little jump on my western trip. But next time I strike his schools I will make a post card as he made 30¢ pictures. Bainbridge is a little slow getting out my cards so that I will probably have to work on them some next Saturday as I want to deliver them Monday. So I will come out there as early as convenient Saturday, but as I can’t give exact time, don’t try to meet me as I can easily walk over.

Uncle Ernest and Dudley are here. They are down town with Chas. now. Nelson passed or has been promoted.

Feels a trifle cold in the house that is I am fairly comfortable with my coat on but house does not seem to be overheated any.

Yours truly,

Max
